Annotation: 
The article discusses the theoretical issues and approaches to the scientific 
study of employment of the rural population and the forecasting of socio-economic indicators of 
the labor market. The scientific methodology of the research, forecasting methods used in the 
study of the dynamics of the rural labor market, the features of their application in practice and 
the stages of correlation-regression analysis are given.
