Abstract. The article deals with the problem of developing a geometric model of the soil formation wrapping scheme applicable for different types of plowing. The comparative model of geometrical parameters of schemes of for- mation wrapping of various types of plowing is developed. The shape of the cross-section of the soil layer is chosen as an optimized parameter for this problem. The proposed model is intended for computer modeling of the formation wrapping scheme and is applicable for virtual studies of the plowing process.
