No agreement in Ukr & Eng between the adverbial, infinitival& some phrasal adjuncts: George was the 1^st to recover.; Гвідо вибрав шлях наліво. Only in Eng: adjuncts consisting of:1)clusters of nouns – sugar cane production 2)statival adjuncts to nouns – Miss Ackroyd saw her uncle alive at 9.45. 3) gerundial adjuncts to nouns – You have not spoiled my pleasure in meeting you. 4) contextual adjuncts expressed by articles having a lexical meaning in the text – The thought was fire in him.
