Actuality of subject. Ginseng does not grow in our country. It is very difficult to grow it. 
Therefore, the methods of tissue culture is one of the alternative ways to grow this valuable plant 
and to obtain its biologically active substances in great numbers. 
The aim of the research.Obtain callus culture of ginseng andextraction biological active 
substances not from a plant but directly from callus. 
Materials and methods of the research. We conducted our research at the Institute of Genomics 
and Bioinformatics.
For our work we needed roots and seeds of ginseng. We took explants from different parts of the 
plant. From the beginning they were very carefully sterilized. It is important to get rid of different 
microbes, since the explant was taken from the material that was directly in the soil. For the 
sterilization, the following reagents are needed, such as potassium permanganate, sodium 
hypochloride, alcohol and others. We prepared solutions with the necessary concentrations and put 
our explants into these solutions for several minutes. 
Then we had to prepare a nutrient 
medium. We tried in some nutrient media. But they chose one composition widely used in the 
methods of tissue culture - MurasigaSkuge. We prepared the agar nutrient medium on petri dishes 
and sterilized them.Then they put the sterile explants in the agar medium. This stage should be 
carried out in laminar boxes in which a specific rifle is given. Then the finished materials are 
carried out in a special zone, where the desired mode is controlled.
Results of the research.
As a result of our research, we received callus cultures of ginseng. Still 
continue to observe the callusogenesis of our crops. Of these calluses we will obtain biologically 
active substances. 
Conclusion.Callus formation of ginseng is very long and difficult process.Aftergetting callus we 
will obtain biologically active substances-panaxosits and we will check their quantities.
