1. What is textual integrity?
I've been told that textual integrity has to do with the idea being strongly shown throughout the whole text and to show textual integrity you need to chose quotes from start, middle and end. i think it also has to do with why the text is relevant, but moreso in terms that if the speech has textual integrity, it leaves a stronger impact of an audience and therefore remains relevant? only my understanding though, and i could be wrong! always struggled with this idea
2. What’s organic unity?
Organic unity is the idea that a thing is made up of interdependent parts. For example, a body is made up of its constituent organs, and a society is made up of its constituent social roles.
3. What are universal themes and how do we know they’re “universal”?
A universal theme is an idea that applies to anyone regardless of cultural differences, or geographic location. Universal themes are ways to connect ideas across all disciplines. It is a central idea about the human condition. It is a generalization about life or human nature; they deal with basic human concerns.

2.Humanism- Humanism is a philosophical stance that emphasizes the value and agency of human beings, individually and collectively. The meaning of the term humanism has fluctuated according to the successive intellectual movements which have identified with it.
3.Renaissance- The Renaissance is a period in the history of Europe beginning in about 1400, and following the Medieval period. "Renaissance" is a French word meaning "rebirth". The period is called by this name because at that time, people started taking an interest in the learning of ancient times, in particular, the learning of Ancient Greece and Rome. The Renaissance was seen as a "rebirth" of that learning. The Renaissance is often said to be the start of the "modern age".
