Task I. Translation.
Butunjahon suv kuni

Suv hayotiy ahamiyatga egadir. U yetilgan tananing 55-60 foizini tashkil qiladi va har bir tirik hujayra o'z funksiyalarini davom ettirishi uchun unga muhtoj. Oddiy sharoitlarda inson tanasi faqat uch-to'rt kun suvsiz omon qolishi mumkin. Bizga tirik qolish uchun suv kerak, ammo butun dunyo bo'ylab toza ichimlik suvidan foydalana olmaydigan milliardlab odamlar bor.

Birinchi marta Jahon suv kuni 1993-yilda nishonlangan. Bu kun birinchi marta Birlashgan Millatlar Tashkilotining (BMT) atrof-muhitni rivojlantirish va rivojlantirish bo'yicha Rio-de-Janeyro konferentsiyasida 1992-yilda taklif qilingan va shu vaqtdan beri har yili 22-mart kuni nishonlanib kelinmoqda. Har yili BMT bu sana atrofida Butunjahon Suv Rivojlantirish Hisobotini e'lon qiladi. Har yil o'zining ish mavzulariga ega, masalan toza suvning o'rni, isrofgarchilikni to'xtatish yo'llari, kam ta'minlangan guruhlarga suv etkazib berish yo'llarini topish va h.k.larni ko'rib chiqish kabi har xil mavzular bo'ladi.

Eng asosiysi toza ichimlik suvi hisoblanadi. Ammo bu sanitariya va gigiena uchun ham muhimdir. Ma'lumotlarga ko'ra, har kuni 7 yoshgacha bo'lgan 700 dan ortiq bola xavfli suv va yomon sanitariya bilan bog'liq kasalliklardan vafot etadi. Suv va sanitariya huquqi 2010-yilda BMT Bosh Assambleyasi tomonidan inson huquqi sifatida tan olingan. Ammo dunyoda hali ham kamida 2,1 milliard aholi o'z uylarida toza suvsiz yashamoqda. Bularga qishloq jamoalarini, urush va mahalliy mojarolar tufayli ko'chib ketgan odamlarni va iqlim o'zgarishi sabab suv tobora kamayib borayotgan joylarni kiritish mumkin.

Task III. Writing.

Some people think that it is a good idea of all employees to wear a uniform at work.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?


As we are living in a fast changing world, there are many things human beings has to face and challenge. Actually, It is a widely discussed debate whether or not uniforms are needed at workplaces as some people state that Wearing uniforms at work is surely good while others deny this notion. However, it has fair pros and cons as well, in this essay, I will look at both sides and give my own conclusion.

There are several advantages of wearing uniforms at work. One of them can be that a uniform basically is a walking advertisement for the company or any organisation. When one walk out, wearing special uniforms, people usually take notice of their clothes and through company logos and emblems people get to know about workplaces. Secondly, wearing the same clothes would give the feeling of team spirit, and makes the employees feel that they are a part of the company. That is why it can increase the sense of loyalty around the workers. Moreover, it is clear that uniforms are a highly effective way to give a good first impression to customers about the company or organisation. This can provide comfort for both employees and customers.



On the other hand, the state has its disadvantages as well one of which is poorly designed work clothes (such as high-heels, skirts) that may lead to discomfort during the final part of the job. Surely, this impacts the work output in a bad way. Additionally, by wearing uniforms in an establishment everyone will look the same. And this may cause prevention of uniqueness among workers. Wearing the same uniform every day might be boring for the employees too.

In conclusion, nowadays uniforms can serve as a form of identity for workplace and workers as well, at the same time, it can be inconvenience for employees. In my point of view, beneficial sides overweight the disadvantages, thus i agree the first notion that people should wear a uniform at work.
