Lead-in
(5 min)

1.1. Brainstorming, teacher asks the students’ the following questions: Which type of food have you tried? Which of them can we find in our city? Which adjectives do we usually use to describe food? Which food do you like best? (5 min)

Vocabulary
(10 min)

2.1. Stick three copies of exercises on three different parts of the wall and ask students to run to the paper and match the words.(5 min)

2.2. Ask students to match the pictures with the correct words. Then check their answers.(5 min )

Stage 3
Reading (20 min)

3.1. Ask students to look at the blackboard and tick the types of food which are in the list. Then ask students how often do they eat the food on the list and which of them they think junk food. Explain the difference between junk food, fast food and slow food.(5 min)

3.2. Divide students into three groups (Coffee, Sugar, Coca cola). Distribute texts and ask them to read them. Then ask each group to retell their texts and ask other groups to take notes. Distribute the rubric and ask each group to tick correct answer. (15 min)
