Registration for camp opens February 15th and is on a first come first serve basis.

Our camps always fill up fast.
To secure your space in the camp: On-line Registration, Waiver and Payments on the SBYC website. ($275/week beginner/intermediates and Advanced Clinic $295) Financial assistance is available for families in need. Please contact us regarding our scholarship program.
Cost?
$295 Advanced Sailing Clinic- Meet at South Beach Yacht Club sailing- City Front, Treasure Island, South of the Bay Bridge preparing your teen for High School Racing.

$275 Beginner/Intermediate Sailing Camp- Meet at South Beach Yacht Club- Sailing in McCovey Cove.

What to expect?

A full day of ON, IN and AROUND the water FUN! The students will learn to rig & launch JY trainers, Lasers and CFJs. They will master steering and controlling the sails with morning and afternoon sessions on the water. We’ll sail around South Beach Harbor and into McCovey Cove. We provide water and snacks, and a Friday BBQ. Your child will need to bring a bag lunch Monday- Thursday.

What to wear?

• 
  Closed-toe shoes that can get wet, like a pair of old sneakers (Rafting or other water shoes are great, NO FLIP-FLOPS)
  
• 
  T-Shirt or sun-protective shirt
  
• 
  Board Shorts/Bathing suit for under wetsuit
  
• 
  Hat with retainer clip
  
• 
  Sunblock (Most effective if first application is before you are in the sun!)
  
• 
  Retainer strings for eyeglasses and sunglasses
  
• 
  A wetsuit
  

What to bring? A backpack or duffel bag with:

• 
  Good fitting Wetsuit (available at Costco, REI, Sports Authority, Play it again sports, Big 5)
  
• 
  Bring a Bag Lunch: Monday- Thursday (snacks, water and Friday Awards BBQ provided)
  
• 
  Sunblock
  
• 
  Towel (everyday!)
  
• 
  Dry Clothes (everyday!)
  
• 
  Windbreaker & Fleece Jacket (especially if the weather’s looking cool & damp) If the weather report calls for cool temps and/or rain, send your child with some extra warm clothes. Remember, it feels 10 degrees colder on the water! Do not bring/wear anything valuable that you would not want to lose overboard! (no i-Pods, cell phones or electronics during camp)
  

Drop-off, Pick-up Instructions:

Sailing Camp Drop-off/Pick-up will take place at South Beach Yacht Club. South Beach Yacht Club is located on the upper level of the harbor building between Pier 40 and AT&T Park.

**Parking is available in the guest parking spaces at the Pier 40 parking lot at the corner of Townsend and Embarcadero.
