  1. How did the partnership with Frederique Constant come to life?


We both love the charity Donors Choose—and we initially planned to collaborate on a campaign for them. When I saw the watches, I got really excited—to work together and support such an incredible cause—it was a no brainer .

 


  1. It seems like there are many points in common with you and Frederique Constant: both yourself and Frederique Constant are involved in working with charities which promote healthy lifestyle and supporting kids —  the brand is very classic and classy and you are the epitome of both – What is it that stood out to you about the brand that made you want to partner with it? 



What’s great about Frederique Constant is their combination of classic style, strong values that I really agree with, and their beautiful commitment to sharing their success by giving back.  


  1. What do you like in particular about the Frederique Constant product offering? What timepiece do you wear most frequently?


Every piece is timeless—the kind of classic you keep forever.  My very favorite is the Classics Delight Automatic.


  1. You will be launching the Frederique Constant Horological Smartwatch, which in a way promotes a healthy lifestyle within the beauty of a Frederique Constant timepiece - What are your thoughts about this? 


It’s brilliant for
 a traditional watchmaker to approach the smartwatch while maintaining the design codes that express their brand the best—in this case, these exquisite pieces. The Horological Smartwatch is incredible—it looks chic and traditional, but does the job of a digital watch. 

 


  1. The event will benefit a great charity which you are supporting, ‘DonorsChoose’ — can you tell us more about why you and Frederique Constant chose this charity ?



I’m so impressed with the work DonorsChoose does; I‘ve supported them for a while now, so picking a charity for this campaign was easy.


  1. You will be working out in a fitness class coached by Tracy Anderson with students from NY public schools, for a challenge that will hopefully bring a big donation to DonorsChoose — have you ever done anything similar? 

This will be the first time, I 've never done anything quite like this— I’m really looking forward to it.  Tracy is a great motivator when it comes to fitness, and I’m so excited to meet the kids!
