Good Afternoon, Cub Run Parents --
I have been informed that our Cubs For A Cure Relay For Life Team has achieved their goal of reaching the $5,000 mark in fundraising for the first time in our school's history. Thank you, parents, for the loose change and donations which have now helped to put us just over $5,200 so far -- with Relay For Life's annual event this coming Friday evening and Saturday morning at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds. Our Cubs For A Cure team will be represented at Relay again this year. Please come by and say hello if you and your families are visiting at the Fairgrounds this weekend.
I guess that means that I'll get "silly-stringed" ... is that a verb? ... this coming Friday afternoon when we have our school's SOL Pep Rally in the gymnasium. It's all for a great cause! Our Cub Run Community has been very caring and supportive of this fundraiser in many ways over the past year! Thanks Much!
As we get ready to turn the calendar page -- this time to May -- I hope that you and your families continue to experience a great spring season!
