Description of my hometown
My full name is Shokir Sherkhanov. I am 28 years old. I am a student. I study at TATU in the first course. I am learning IT skills and knowledge. I am going to write about my hometown. My hometown is called Qilichinoq. It is situated in Ellikkala district of Karakalpakistan Republic. Qilichinoq is very big and beautiful town. I was born there and have lived since then.
My hometown was named after a man whose name was Qilich and he worked as an “inoq”( deputy of minister) in Khiva Khanate. They say this man was born in this place. Qilichinoq is located by the Amu-darya river and along the motorway A-380. It is between Beruni and Turtkul and on the way to Tashkent. Qilichinoq is a wonderful place to live. There are a lot of necessary buildings for people. Moreover, there is a huge beginning point of the channel “Bo’zyop” and there are many incredibly enormous motor-pumps to get water from the Amu-darya for the fields in Beruni and Ellikkala districts.
I love my hometown because my family, my friends and relatives live in here. I spent my childhood here, I got educated and brought up in here. I can recommend people to visit my hometown as they can find numerous interesting places and sightseeing in Qilichinoq.
