THE STAGES OF THE COURSE PAPER


PREPARATORY STAGE - selecting topic, discussing topic specifications and useful sources of information with supervisor.
EXPLORING TOPIC INFORMATION – selecting only trustful sources of information like dissertations, articles from scientific journals, scientific and professionally oriented books, and manuals, monographs issued around 5 years ago.
COMPILING PLAN - course paper plan should be created after learning and critical analyses of the topic information and approved by the supervisor. Plan should enlighten basic methodical categories of the title and establish step by step procedure of the investigation. While writing stage some changes may be inserted into the first version of the plan. See APPENDIX 1
WRITING STAGE – this stage includes organizing information due to the course paper plan.
DEFENDING STAGE – this stage is for grounding topic actuality, presenting methods of research, proving theoretical basis, giving recommendations based on practical results and summarizing course paper contribution to the science. Usually such information is presented in annotation to the course paper (0,5 page information) or in 5-slide PPT.
ASSESSMENT STAGE - examination board (2 teachers or more) after checking the course paper by supervisor and discussing results announces mark.
