B. Four aspects of speech sounds.

Articulatory aspect studies the movements and positions of speech organs while producing the speech sounds. Acoustic aspect studies the frequency, intensity, duration and timbre of speech sounds. Perceptive aspect studies the way of hearing the speech sounds. Phonological aspect studies the linguistic functions of speech sounds.
C. Study the difference between the speech sounds and phonemes.

The articulatory, acoustic and perceptive aspects mainly deal with speech sounds whereas the phonological aspect deals with phonemes. The meaning distinctive functions of speech sounds are considered to be their linguistic aspect and in this aspect speech sounds are studied as phonemes. The speech sounds which differentiate the lexical and grammatical forms of a word are called phonemes. The main difference between speech sounds and phonemes is the following: a phoneme is considered an abstract notion because of being realized as the sum of all the sounds in the field of one speech sound whereas a speech sound is regarded as a concrete notion owing to its expressing one concrete sound.
