Relevance.
Colloquy – (from Latin. belongs among others institutions – the 
conversation, the conversation) – a form of training, understood as a conversation 
of the teacher with pupils with the objective of enhancing knowledge. It can be in 
the form of individual interviews between the teacher and the student or as a mass 
survey. During the group discussion students learn to express their point of view 
on a particular issue, to defend its opinion, applying the knowledge gained in the 
classroom on the subject. And the teacher at this time has the opportunity to assess 
the level of students understanding of the material. 
Goal.
The Colloquium is held in the middle of the semester or after the study 
section in the form of a survey with the tickets and is a mini-exam. However, 
unlike the exam questions for the Colloquium were not disclosed to students in 
advance. Colloquium – a form of verification and assessment of knowledge of 
students. The estimate obtained in this session, can affect the assessment 
differentiated credit or exam. 
Tasks.
The teacher should relate the goals and objectives of the course and 
the final results achieved; the final stage sums up all the achievements in order to 
give new impetus to the further study and solve the issues discussed (in the 
framework of one class is impossible to solve all the assigned problems, one of the 
objectives of such activity, provoke interest in the problems discussed); the teacher 
should describe the work of each small group to identify the most competent and 
correct student answers.
The results of the study
include the stages of the Colloquium: 1. A 
preparatory stage. 2. The beginning of a session. 3. To prepare students on the 
issues raised. 4. Stage answers to the questions. 
Conclusions.
In the manner prescribed by the teacher, representatives from 
micro groups read developed during the group discussion, the answers; students 
from other micro groups meet ask questions, comment and complement the 
proposed response; the teacher regulates the discussion by asking leading 
questions, correcting wrong answers (it is important that the teacher does not 
intervene directly in the discussion, not impose their own point of view); after 
discussion of each question it is necessary to draw General conclusions and logical

to switch to discuss the following question (important questions to be distributed 
so that the answers micro groups alternated); after discussion, all proposed 
questions, the instructor summarizes the overall findings.
