These skills can be seen in

and they are interconnected and show that 
integration of information and know-how between the departments is also very vital 
for successful digital transformation and successful projects. However, to make sure 
the project managers have or gain these skills the previous research suggests that the 
candidates who have these skills must be hired or the existing employees need to be 
trained. It could be suggested to include the rotational program where employees can 
work in different departments to gain the necessary skills and knowledge.

we can observe the drivers of managing and implementing 
digital technologies or disruptive technologies into the organization and project 
management. Firstly, there is a need for establishing the training programs that will 
help the project managers gain the mentioned 6 skills. Secondly, the organization must 
invest in tools and approaches such as ERP system tools, project management software, 
cloud-based databases, and more. Thirdly, the culture of innovation must be created to 
stay relevant in the fast-changing business world and especially in times of pandemic. 
In conclusion, there is still a demand for further research into the ways digital 
technology could be implemented in project management. It is due to the fact of a fast-
changing environment and the digital era where there is something new coming up 
every given day. This research also had limitations and further research needs to be 
done in the field of digital technology for project management. Project management 
will inevitably transform into a more integrated activity that is dependent on digital 
technology to succeed in the digital era of today and during the times of the pandemic.
To recommend the ways of implementing digital technology in project 
management we can say that there is a need for training programs, tools, and 
approaches and innovative culture that nourishes the project managers to become 
project leaders who make use of the digital and disruptive technology. Besides, the 
rotation of employees into different departments could also help to integrate a variety 
of skills.
