Comparative typology of the Complex Sentences with an Adverbial Clause of Manner in Modern English and Uzbek/Russian

In the compared languages adverbial clauses of manner shows that the action or state or event takes place in the manner like it is the case in the principle clause. The principal clause is introduced to the subordinate clause by such English subordinators as” as, like, as…as”,etc,, by such Uzbek subordinators as ” қанча …. ca, шунча…., қанчалик…., шунчалик….., қандай....., шундай.....etc., and by such Russian subordinators as “чем...., тем...., чем больше, тем лучше …».etc.
An adverbial clauses of manner characterizes how and under what circumstances the action is realized or state or quality is expressed in the principle clause.
Samples in English:
Do as I say! (LDCE)
He dances as well as his friend does.
He sings like his brother does.
Samples in Uzbek:
"Наҳотки ўз бухалтерим шундай қилса-я" деб кўнгли бузилди.
Қандай кирган бўлсангиз, шундай чиқиб кетасиз (С.Ахмад).
Қандоқ кирган бўлсанг, шундоқ чиқиб кетасан.
Samples in Russian:
Чем быстрее закончите, тем вам самим лучше.
Чем больше ребенок играет, тем лучше будет ему.
It should be borne in mind that in the compared languages in the complex sentences with adverbial clauses of comparison and of manner we observe the phenomenon of homonymy like in the cases of such sentences as “ She dances as her mother does”( У худди онасидек рақсга тушади, Она танцует как ее мать), fot it can be analyzed as the complex sentence with a clause of comparison and of manner because of the neutralized context. But in such complex sentences as “He is much taller than I am”(У мендан анчагина новча, Он намного выше по росту чем я) , there is only one clause of comparison and no manner.
In English and Russian the adverbial clause of manner locates after the principal clause, in Uzbek - before it.
The meanings of most English complex sentences with an adverbi­al clause of manner is expressed by simple sentences with predicative constructions, i.e. by complicated simple sentences in Uzbek.
