OUR INSTITUTE LIBRARY.
Libraries are very important in the life all students. They can’t buy all the books they want to read. That’s why they take their books from their Institute library. The students go to the library on week – days. They bring their books to the library and go home taking new books.
The librarians take books from the students who come in and give them the books they need for their practical and scientific work. There is a reading room, a special hall for scientific reference work, for teachers and students. Students and teachers enjoy reading books and it doesn’t matter what kind of book it is. It can be a collection of short stories, a book of poems or adventures, scientific books, encyclopedic, the equally enjoy them all. But there is one thing that matters. When they choose a book for reading, it shouldn’t be dull but interesting. They used to get their books from their Institute library.
I must admit that our Institute library had a good stock of books and the librarian was always ready to help in one’s choice of books. A great number of volumes filled the shelves. One can find there books of adventure stories, historical novels and tales that opened up panoramas of life and history of other countries, psychological novels, collection of short stories, the immortal classics, dictionaries of all foreign languages, textbooks, encyclopedic books, books on economy, books on architecture – building and many others.
Our library subscribed to several newspapers and magazines. They kept the students and teachers well informed about the latest developments in the country and abroad, news in the spheres of science, art and literature.
