We learn foreign languages

Learning a foreign language is not an easy thing. It is a long and slow process that takes a lot of time and efforts. Nowadays it is especially important to know foreign languages. Some people learn languages because they need them for their work, others travel abroad, for the third studying languages is a hobby. Everyone, who knows foreign languages can speak to people from other countries, read foreign writers in the original, which makes your outlook wider. It is not surprising that many intellectuals and well-educated people are polyglots. I study English. Nowadays English has become the world's most important language in politics, science, trade and cultural relations. Over 300 million people speak it as a mother tongue. The native speakers of English live in Great Britain, the United States of America, Australia and New Zealand. English is one of the official languages in the Irish Republic, Canada, the South Africa Republic. English is one of the official languages of the United Nations Organization and other political organizations. Half of the world's scientific literature is in English. It is the language of computer technology. To know English today is absolutely necessary for every educated person, for every good specialist. The English language is a wonderful language. It is the language of the great literature. It is the language of William Shakespeare, Jonathan Swift, Walter Scott, Charles Dickens. The great German poet Goethe once said, "He, who knows no foreign language, does not know his own one." That is why in order to understand oneself and environment one has to study foreign languages.

Health matters

Someone has correctly said that ‘if health is gone everything is gone’. Life loses interest, in case you are deprived of health. You enjoy neither food nor the world. Even spending time joyfully becomes a big problem. A healthy person (whether rich or poor) lives more happy and peaceful life than any rich person having a diseased body. We can, therefore, say that the real wealth of a man is his health.

Health is not merely the absence of disease and infirmity but a state of complete physical, social and mental well being. Health is thus a level of functional efficiency of living beings and the general condition of a person’s mind, body and spirit, meaning it is free illness, injury and pain. If you are strong and healthy you can be a shining example to others and teach them how to achieve vibrant health.

In order to get good health, people should follow a healthy lifestyle. People who are not involved in the healthy lifestyle may suffer a range of health disorders like overweight, high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol, kidney problems, liver disorders and so many. An unhealthy body gets tired very easily and a tired body easily loses motivation and self-confidence.

Health is the great blessing of god. Good health is a matter of great concern. To maintain good health, healthy living and a disciplined life is a must. We should take care of our health and for this, we should always take a simple and balanced diet. Exercise is very important for

For attaining a healthy and disease free body cleanliness is very important. Our motto should be to keep our body clean in order to remain healthy. We should also keep our house and our surroundings clean. A clean environment leads to a clean and healthy body. It reduces the risk of catching communicable diseases. And to obtain a clean environment it is the responsibility of the people to inculcate healthy habits.

Personal development

Many people work very hard in their life but they do not seem to be able to achieve something worthwhile (Personal Goal Setting, 2013). Successful people on the other hand, know what they want and create plans to help them achieve these goals. They will establish a step by step plan, and will continue to follow that plan until their goal is achieved. These people tend to be proactive rather than be reactive. Personal planning is really important because it helps you not only to achieve your goals but to tell you how you can achieve them. Without a personal plan, it will be hard to attain any objectives you want to complete. Whether it is a short-term goal or a long-term goal, there must be a strategy on how to reach it. Or you may want to have a positive monthly cash flow of $500 dollars to be put in the savings account, so then you will need to plan on how you should lower your expenses to reach the monthly cash flow you want.
Goal setting is therefore really important in our everyday personal life. However in my case, I have difficulty managing my time for schoolwork and personal finances.
For schoolwork, I always finish my schoolwork in the last minute or study right before quizzes or tests. A reason for this may be due to I never planned a schedule for how and when will I study for a test or for a project. I usually forget about having a test or is just lazy to start studying for it. This is why when I start studying the night before the test or exam, I have a hard time trying to figure what should I study first and what I should study last. Then, a lot of time is wasted on deciding how I should start studying. I usually tend to wait for things such as exams and schoolwork to appear before addressing them.

Telephone manner

Call center customer service professionals have to be polite and lead the call, even if the customer isn't being polite because of a problem or service failure.

Ask anyone how they feel about phoning a call center and most people reply “I dread it”. Long call waiting times, press 1 for this and press 2 for that, cause blood pressure to rise, especially when “this” and “that” weren’t the reason for your call. So your customers may not be in the best mood by the time they get through to a customer service agent The skills and manner of employees can make a huge difference. If the Customer Service Representative is polite and helpful right from the beginning of the call, their manner can transform a call, and lead to a positive customer experience. It is, after all, very hard to be angry with someone who is polite and trying to help us.

Those skills might take a little longer to acquire, and consistently put into practice, but you can compile a list of things that are essential when helping customers by telephone.

Working language

Working language, also known as procedural language, is the language that is used in a company, state, society or any other organization or body as the main means of communication. The establishment of a working language is necessary in organizations that consist of members from different language backgrounds in order to ensure that everyone is proficient in the working language and there are no errors in communication. Prime examples of the need to establish working languages come from international bodies such as the United Nations, the World Trade Organization and the European Union. Each of these are made up of numerous nationalities, each with their own mother tongues and official languages. The main reason for establishing working languages in these cases is economical as the cost of translating all speeches, papers, decisions and memos into every language would be cost prohibitive, not to mention time-consuming and impractical. However, the choice of which language is accepted is often a controversial one with the native speakers of the languages at an advantage. English and French are the most common working languages for many international bodies with Spanish and German coming in third and fourth. However, the working language depends on the area and type of organization. For example, the Southern African Development Community lists four: English, French, Afrikaans and Portuguese. The United Nations lists Arabic, Chinese, Spanish and Russian as well as English and French. This means that these languages are used at meetings and representatives may speak any one of these languages. If they are not familiar with these languages, then interpretation is provided but only into one of the six working languages. Simultaneous interpretation of the six is provided automatically.

Tourism in Uzbekistan

Nowadays travel to Uzbekistan is one of the most popular ways to widen you horizons, see gorgeous ancient cities and become closer to the mysterious and exciting East and its marvelous culture. Why? It’s all very simple! First, tourism in Uzbekistan is affordable. Second, it’s safe. And third, Uzbekistan tourism includes so much activities and possibilities such as special sightseeing tours, cultural tourism and also adventure tourism and ecotourism.

Placed right in the middle of the famous Great Silk Road, Uzbekistan welcomes everyone to visit Samarkand, Khiva and Bukhara. It’s not a surprise that these places cradle ancient spirit: they used to be main cultural centers of Central Asia and they soaked the influence of many different cultures during the invasions of Aleksandr The Great and Genghis Khan. These cities are as ancient as Rome. You can still find there old palaces, mausoleums and minarets which became only more beautiful and grand as the millenniums go by. Old buildings of ancient cities of Uzbekistan created by the best past days architects will amaze you with all their glory and greatness. Places filled with historical atmosphere are still comfortable for the tourists: there are many modern hotels and guest houses, new restaurants and caf?s. Everything is made according to international standards and with great love. Samarkand, lying in the Zarafshan valley, has always been the heart of the Great Silk Road. It survived after horrible invasions and raised from the ashes. This grand city, Pearl of the East, became more beautiful when Tamerlan took the power. Nowadays Samarkand is in the UNESCO World Heritage List with all its priceless architecture and historical treasures: Gur-Emir, Registan, Shakhi-Zinda Burial Vault, Sher-Dor madrasah and many many others. Talking about your town and country

My hometown is a small town in the south of England called Shorewood. It is 45 miles from London, in the countryside. There is a small industrial zone in the town but most people who live there commute to London for work. It is in the middle of a big agricultural area. It’s not polluted or noisy, just the usual smells and sounds of rural life! There is a traditional market in the centre of town twice a week but there are no large shopping malls. There is a very beautiful church in the town centre and there are some lovely parks around the town. There is also a canal that runs through the town and some people still live on houseboats on the water. It is a fairly sleepy town and most teenagers can’t wait to leave.

As well as talking about your hometown, you could be asked about the differences between urban and rural life and whether life in the city is better than life in the countryside.

It’s helpful to think about the differences between city life and country life to start with. First, let’s make a list of some features of city and country life. I’ll start but you need to add your own ideas to the lists!

Speeding of information

Australian research also suggests that speeds 5km/h above average in urban areas and 10km/h above average in rural areas can double the risk of a casualty crash – similar to the risk associated with driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.05 (Queensland Transport 2008, p12). Driving under the influence of alcohol is largely seen as socially unacceptable behaviour and speeding needs to be perceived the same way.

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), of which Australia is a member, estimates that, at any one point in time, 50% of drivers are exceeding legal speed limits (European Transport Safety Council 2008, p7).

The difference between addressing illegal speeding and drink driving is therefore; that reducing speeding requires a larger number of non-compliers to change their behaviour, while there is a much smaller proportion of drivers who need to change their behaviour in relation to drinking and driving (European Transport Safety Council 2008, p7).

In 2010 there were 55 fatalities as a result of crashes involving speeding drivers or riders within Queensland, which represented 22.1% of the Queensland road toll (Department of Transport and Main Roads 2011, p10).  Queenslanders can and do die in crashes where their vehicle is travelling at speeds higher than the speed limit, and/or too fast for the prevailing conditions.

Talking about jobs and work

I probably can not describe my motivation and interests towards my work. I like to work with all teams and departments to provide the secure and convenient environment to operate and implement all programs and humanitarian activities.

Likes and dislikes

Every one has likes and dislikes. I too have them. Of all the things I like most is to be left alone with a story book with the music on. I prefer Indian classical instruments like the sitar, sarod and santoor. They are very soothing and sound interesting to me. I am learning to play the sitar so all the more I am fascinated by it. I also like to go to quiet places for holidays. The mountains are my favourite. Every holiday we go to Sikkim. The formation of the stars in the evening sky attracts me very much. I can sit for hours together watching the stars. I like to watch the birds and imitate their songs and calls. I like to eat home food but occasionally I do eat junk food. The adventure movies attract me. Things that I dislike are loud car horns and noise. Both my parents have very soft voices. They never speak in high pitch. I also speak very softly. When I study I do not like anybody standing behind and watching me. What I dread most and utterly dislike is to sit for examinations.
