Optional Activity 5 Play “Ask and answer” .
Objective: to consolidate the new vocabulary and structure
STEP 1: stick the 4 pictures of the seasons on the blackboard 
and ask the questions:
“What season is it?”
is it hot?
is it cold?
The children answer ‘Yes. / no.’
STEP 2: if time allows, you can organise the chain drill acti-
vity to practise the new vocabulary and structure learnt in Acti-
vity 4. This time a pupil makes a gesture for a kind of weather, 
the next pupil guesses and says “it’s cold”, etc.
