Dear ladies and gentlemen,
On behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Uzbekistan, I have the 
honour to welcome the participants, guests and organizers of the 4th UzTextile Expo Spring 2022, 
the International Textile and Fashion Exhibition.
The great attention is paid to the development of textile industry both in Uzbekistan and Belarus. 
I would like to emphasis with satisfaction that our bilateral cooperation in this area is steadily 
developing. Business contacts between Belarusian and Uzbek enterprises are expanding every 
year, which partnerships are getting strengthened. 
Traditionally, the exhibition of textile and fashion industry is visited by high officials from Belarus. 
This year, the Belarusian delegation, headed by Ms. Tatiana Lugina, the Chairperson of Bellegprom 
Concern, will take part in the business program.
The Belarusian exposition is represented by a wide range of textile and petrochemical products 
made in Belarus.
Visitors to the Belarusian stand will observe materials demanded in the textile industry: from 
chemical threads to polymer composite materials and knitted fabrics of various designs.
I am confident that the contacts established during the ongoing exhibition and its events will 
contribute to the further development of partnerships, identification of new forms of interaction 
and the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan.
I would like to thank the organizers and participants of UzTextile Expo Spring 2022 for their efforts 
on holding this event, and wish all participants and guests health, good mood and successful 
results, and also invite everyone to visit the national stand of the Republic of Belarus.
