Object of this course work is English newspaper headlines.
The subject of course paper is analysis newspaper headlines, their features, translation methods and the role of translation transformations in the translation of newspaper headlines, as well as the features of translating some headlines from English newspapers into Uzbek.
This research paper aims at understanding the „unusual‟ linguistic characteristics of English news headlines, which make them a tough challenge for most translators across the world.
Consequently, the tasks of this research are:

  - to study сharacteristic features of word formation of a newspaper article in English and Uzbek languages;
  
• 
  - to explore pecualarities of English newspaper headlines;
  
• 
  - to investigate Newspaper Headlines and Their Translation Construction
  
• 
  - to analyse Translation of Newspaper Headlines
  

The methods of investigation used in this research are as following: complex approach to the study including lexical, morphological, structural, distributional ways of analysis .
The theoretical basis of the study consists of the works of such scientists as L. S. Barkhudarov, Bremner, J.B., Cannon K.I.,Cui Yan., Kukharenko V.A. The work can be useful for all the teachers of foreign languages when they teach their students to translate the written sources of information or when the letters are taught to speak and transmit the information in foreign languages.
The theoretical significance of the work. The ivestigation, detalization of the issues studied, theoretical value of the received results leads to the conclusion that this research finds out the necessity to emphasize scientific translation as an independent applied science.
The practical significance of the work is determined by the possibility of using the material of the study of translation transformations in courses on the theory and practice of translation.
