The structure of course paper includes: introduction, 3 paragraphs, conclusion and list of references.
The main part includes the depiction of heroes who had lost faith in society, in ideals, in their own strength or the opportunity to find their happiness. The artistic feature of E. Hemingway's works of this period was the use of modernist techniques, primarily such as "stream of consciousness", but gradually the writer created his own, original creative method and style. Hemingway was distanced from modernism by the non-perception of the irrational; using the individual means found by representatives of this trend, he sought an answer to the problems posed by life in reality. Gradually, the subject matter expanded, the disclosure became deeper, but less explicit - ideas from the plain text passed into subtext, direct factography was obscured by a special, philosophical symbolism.
The first paragraph highlights the development of short story genre in American literature. The second paragraph focuses on Ernest Hemingway`s influence on the American Literature. While the third highlights Hemingway’s writing style in his short stories and its artistic peculiarity.
