The employment structure of small businesses by sector also did not 
change during 2005 and 2017. Three sectors—agriculture, industry, and 
construction—absorbed about 60% of small business employment (Figure 
4.5a). In particular, agriculture-related small businesses, with 9% of total small 
businesses, employed 34% of the total small business labor force. Meanwhile, 
services-related small businesses, with 60% of total small businesses, employed 
only 40% of the total small business labor force.
