Possible Path

The Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan (2020) shows that percentage of admitted students to universities sector vice are very unequal. Taking into account the need for medical education in Uzbekistan and the percentage of admitted students it would be possibly beneficial to choose medical path for the future university.

Partnership Type

For Uzbekistan it would be beneficial to choose Public Partnership because of the benefits it provides to both Uzbek and Foreign university. This would be partnership university between Medical Academy of Uzbekistan and foreign partner university from Europe. Nichols (2020) states the importance of choosing right partnership type when it comes to university cooperation. Public Partnership universities offer numerous contributions to university study, teaching and learning, community acceptance and status. Additional funding sources, international research partnership possibilities, expanded publishing production, development of 'cutting-edge' research initiatives, strengthened research capabilities and potential to advise practice by applied research include research advantages. The benefits of teaching and learning include strengthened teaching program content and usefulness, increased student placements, student access to applied projects, increased student enrolment, and increased student work prospects. In exchange, these research and teaching findings improve the profile and status of universities through national and international visibility and exposure to mass media, and increase the profile of faculties, schools and research centres.
