Nowadays Information and Communication technology has crucial contribution in every sphere, especially in the education. It helps to develop full view about given material which learner should read. For instance ,application of ICT in teaching classes can develop interesting and unforgettable impression about lesson on learners. Educational achievements depends on effective teaching which based on both traditional and modern style of teaching and there is no evidence to refute that people cannot imagine modern teaching environment without ICT. Furthermore, ICT is important in skills such learning languages and researchers called it with the name CALL(Computer Assisted Language Learning).It is usable in EFL classes and it is becoming as a common feature for majority of the educational establishments. Additionally, traditional language teaching can be boring and teacher cannot give the data fully without visual aids. Every coin has two sides and beside advantages there are some challenges too. Apart from curricular changes in teaching sphere, some teachers are disable in using ICT because of knowledge insufficiency while using it. Some researchers called these challenges with the term “barriers” and they divided them into two major categories. First one is extrinsic and other one is intrinsic. Extrinsic barrier related with issues such first order, time, support ,resources and training. Second one has relation with attitudes, beliefs, practices and resistance (Ertmer 2012) Other researchers grouped it in another way. They separated it into teacher level barriers and school level barriers. Becta classified it according to the issues which connected with teacher based problems such as lack of ICT using knowledge, insufficiency of confidence, shortage of a time. Example for school based problems is technical problems which connected with access and conditions. Every mentioned issue connected with teacher and establishment and main object of it is learner. Dilip Barad in his article which written on topic “Experimenting ICT in teaching English Language and literature” focused on learners’ comprehension and the effectiveness of the usage ICT for improving learner’s visual memory. Every content which commented above connected as a chain.
In conclusion, the usage of ICT is requirement of today and it contributed great impact on teaching sphere. Humanity live in an era which called information explosion and ICT is a main key for it.
