No, it isn’t. Money is for sure one of the most crucial factors of motivation, but not all people work solely for money. Some people may work to satisfy their personal will to help others. Let’s take doctors as an example. My brother for example, has a tremendous expertise in medicine and has a chance to work at top hospitals in up-scale neighbourhoods. But he prefers to stay at our local hospital and help patients from middle or lower class families.
How can employers motivate their staff?
They should show appreciation for employees’ work. It can be done simply by praising or giving some material rewards. If workers feel that the administration value their efforts, they get extremely inspired.
Is the role of a leader important in a group?
Yes, absolutely. Teams may witness several disputes as a result of controversial points of view. Leaders tend to put the deciding point taking into account each member’s alternatives. In their absence, team members may struggle to come to an agreement.
Do you agree that the main role of a boss is to motivate employees?
Oh yes. If we look at the practice of successful companies, we can see a clothe-knit mutual relationship between the staff and the head of the company. It is usually achieved when bosses collaborate with workers and motivate by being exemplary at any work employees do. So motivation given by working together is one of the main responsibilities of bosses which can be virtuous for the companies friendly atmosphere too.
Should parents reward their children when they help others?
Parents should re3ward indeed but not so frequently. Children are inclined to like presents, thus they do anything to get that reward again. In turn, children get nurtured to help others and this somehow becomes a part of their personality. But if they are provided with rewards every time when they help others, they may get accustomed to doing favour for an exchange.
Is it a good thing that a leader likes taking risks?
No, definitely. Risks can end up with failure which affects not only the leader but also the whole team. Instead of that, leaders should be cautious about every step of their actions for the welfare of their team members.
There are more male than female world leaders. Do `you think this will change in the future?
Based on current circumstances and developments, I consider that female leaders will increase in number. Today, more and more countries are giving females a chance to showcase their capacities. As a result, more females are seizing their opportunities and having many open doors. In the future, therefore, there can be far bigger number of female leaders than now. But it doesn’t that males will sit still. So it is hard to predict who will lead the world, males or females. Time will show.
Should a leader discuss with team members when making decisions?
Yes, they should, at least for two major reasons. First of all, even the least experienced team member can sometimes come up with some brilliant ideas and lead the team to success. Plus, such discussions show leader’s attention to his or her team and enhance mutual relationship likewise.
Why do many people want to be leaders?
Some people detest merely listening to the words of others and doing things according to leaders’ orders. In lieu of clapping to another leader, some people want themselves to appear in that leading position. So it is their desire to lead others rather than being led.
