1)What handicrafts do people in your country like to make ?
Uzbek people like different types of handicrafts that have always been very popular. But these days one of the most popular ones is carving like carving on the fruits and carving on the woods. Carving on the wood has always been a part of our Uzbek culture. And, we have portrait different kind of patterns like in our furniture and like even in our walls. But carving fruits has gained enormous popularity these days. Because it's indeed very beautiful. It looks very beautiful. And, it demands for carved fruits are huge especially in special occasions like weddings. So I think this is most popular and favourite activity for Uzbek people these days.


2) Do you like making things by hand?
Admittedly, I'm a bit lazy to do these kind of things. I mostly prefer to buy a ready product rather than spending prolonged time like very much time on the process. For some people the process itself is very much interesting but not for me. My laziness prevents it from me.


3) Do you think it's good for children to learn to make things by hand?
Yeah definitely, because it can help them to be more skillful like in terms of imagination and in terms of being dexterious. It's very useful because while making things by their hands they learn the whole process they have to imagine the thing that they are making. Therefore it increases their hand motions and capacity of the think and imagine.


4) Did you make any handicraft items in your childhood?
Yeah in a childhood especially in my schooling period when I was a primary school kids I had one subjects called handicraft. And, in that subject all of the students of our class did together or it required to do different kind of handicrafts like origami which means making things out of the paper and carving certain patterns on the wood. So yes I did.
