INTRODUCTION
One of the most famous Victorian writers and prolific poet, Charlotte Brontë is best known for her novels, the most famous of which is Jane Eyre (1847). Like his contemporary Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Brontë experimented with the poetic forms that had become characteristic of the Victorian era - lengthy narrative poetry and dramatic monologues - but unlike Browning, Brontë gave up writing poetry. after the success of Jane Eyre. Included in this novel are two songs by which most people know his poetry today. Brontë's decision to give up poetry to write fiction represents a dramatic shift in literary tastes and the commercialization of literary genres - from poetry to prose fiction - that occurred in the 1830s and 1840. culture and represents his central place in the history of 19th century literature.
This course paper is devoted to the description of The Charlotte Brontё’s life (Historical Background), her impact to the English speaking countries.
The aim of the work is to present an overview of Brontё’s lively style (Historical Background), and the impacts and positive results.
The tasks of the investigation include:
- to review the role of Charlotte Brontё’s impact in English literature;
- to review the role of Brontё’s novels in English literature;
- to analyze her autobiographical novel “Jane Eyre’’ in English language literature;
- to explain the roles and functions Victorians period of English literature;
The main language material of the work has been gathered from the Internet sources, literary works and the textbooks in English literature of various authors. Thus, writers, their works, the evidence of modernity in words, their definitions and examples in which the words are used, are taken from the authentic English sources, so that the evidence of the research results could be doubtless.
The theoretical and practical value of the paper lies in its applicability to the English literature, and practical English classes.
The structure of the work consists of the Introduction, four plans, conclusion and the bibliography.
Brontё’s novel “Jane Eyre’’ and her lively style is related to English literature which also studies their art, the evidences of their impacts to readers and the inner structure of the works.
Her father was Patrick Brontë (1777–1861), an Anglican clergyman. Irish-born, he had changed his name from the more commonplace Brunty. After serving in several parishes, he moved with his wife, Maria Branwell Brontë, and their six small children to Haworth amid the Yorkshire moors in 1820, having been awarded a rectorship there. Soon after, Mrs. Brontë and the two eldest children (Maria and Elizabeth) died, leaving the father to care for the remaining three girls—Charlotte, Emily, and Anne—and a boy, Branwell. Their upbringing was aided by an aunt, Elizabeth Branwell, who left her native Cornwall and took up residence with the family at Haworth.
