Study of the Transgender Experience 
Debriefing Statement 
This study you have just completed was designed to investigate the 
transgender experience. The study will be utilized in identifying commonalities 
and differences among those in the transgender community and the overall 
experience of individuals at different places in the transition process. The 
research will serve to bring new light to a community that has traditionally not 
been studied.
