A  weakness  may  simply  be 
situational
.  There  is  an  old  saying,  “When  you  go
into  the  woods,  you  must  expect  the  mosquitoes.”  Sometimes  you  will  be
criticized for the things you do, and you may conclude that you are weak in these
areas. However, it may be that criticism just comes with the territory.

Occasionally, people come up to me or write and tell me that they didn’t like my
talk. Even though more than 99 percent of the e-mails and letters that I receive
are  highly  favorable,  there  are  inevitably  people  who,  for  some  reason,  are  not
happy. These are the inevitable mosquitoes that go along with my profession.
You will find that there are inevitable complaints and criticisms that go along
with  whatever  you  do.  They  may  not  be  indicative  of  a  weakness  at  all,  but,
rather, merely opinions or observations by another person.
