Introduction
Early in the morning or at one o'clock, when
Sunset burns with the last brilliance of light And the whole distance is dressed in the dusk of evening, Look, thoughtful poet, then To the waterfall, where the water is turbulent, Like a lion in a log, rages ...
William Wordsworth
The revival of romanticism in contemporary art is called neo-romanticism and is associated with the establishment of universal moral, aesthetic, humanistic and civic values through the romantic ideal of the individual and the ideal of the surrounding world. In this regard, the issues of modern reading of the works of English classics and the search for new effective ways of considering them, taking into account the artistic specifics of works and contributing to the spiritual, moral, intellectual, emotional, literary development of society, increasing aesthetic susceptibility and interest in European classics, are of particular importance . Therefore, the topic of this course work is relevant today in science and society.
Traditionally, the poetry of the “lake school” is perceived by us as deeply civil, telling about history in ballads and songs about beloved England, this is a departure from the artificial, far-fetched poetry of sentimentalism. However, these artists own deep philosophical poems about love, nature, united by literary critics in the so-called cycle of the “lake school”.
The general ethical and philosophical orientation of the poets of the “lake school”, historicism, lyrical and symbolic images and generalizations lead to boundless semantic depths, allow the possibility of linking the “symbolized” text with new semantic contexts, and reveal the romantic matter of poetry [1, 17].
The dual motivation of the “mysterious” expresses the deepest essence of the worldview of the poets of the “lake school” in the field of poetics, their ambiguous open endings in poems still retain the significance of a living classical tradition and therefore determine a lot in the movement of Russian and English lyrics , all literature of the 18-19 centuries.
The theme of love is eternal in world literature, philosophical, aesthetic, moral and social at the same time, love is a multifaceted theme, like this bright feeling itself.
