Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that despite the US consuming the most oil throughout, this is projected to fall dramatically to the vicinity of other locations.
In 2009, almost 10 million barrels of the raw oil was utilized in the USA on a daily basis by taking the center stage. It has experienced an abrupt decline to around 8 million barrels now after being maintained in the same rate during the next 6 years. Meanwhile, daily amount of used oil for Western Europe and Japan stood at 4 million barrels making it twice more than Middle East and China. Although Chinese axe substituted with Western Europe and Japan in 2015, all these three indexes have hovered between 2 and 4 million barrels.
Regarding to estimates, US oil industry will continue its decreasing trend until the end, where it may drop to 4 million barrel. China is estimated to become the second most common user, with just under 4 million barrel, sharing its status with Middle East. Eventually, consumers from Japan and European continent are forecasted to finish the period with as half of as their initial figure.
