Discussion
We selected only six proverbials as samples for discussing and applying them 
in the following activities. Some images are adapted from the websites [5], [6], and 
[7]for the activities to explain them more clearly. 
Applying paremias (proverbs and sayings) in teaching process 
As a language teacher we accept the reality concerning the understanding and 
applying difficulties of paremias. But we can prevent or facilitate these difficulties 
through some ways.

Teacher can apply the proverbials while talking to students, that is, proverbial 
small talk or dialogue between a teacher and students. 
For medical students
Teacher: Do you know how can you help the sick people?
Students: By writing them cheap prescriptions; by reminding their 
healthy routines; by speaking to the politely…………. 
Teacher: I think you should always laugh when you can, it is cheap medicine. 
For physics students: Guess the hidden word. 
This activity can be used as a warming up, energizer or time-filler activity. 
Students are asked “a hidden word” and showed the hint to find the answer. In 
addtion to this, it can useful technique to assess the students
