CONCLUSION
Considering the connection between the categories of emotivity and appraisal in modern linguistics, it should be noted that in the works of scientists, emotivity is considered as an optional part of appraisal. Emotivity can be in all evaluative statements, since it reflects the presence of the subject in them.
The emotiveness of adjectives is often integrated with evaluativeness, it consists of evaluative language content and expressive expression; in addition, the causes of emotions are the object of assessment by the subject of emotion: “in the complex interaction of the subject of assessment and the object, one can single out a component that implies the relationship (good / bad) of the subject to the object. This component can be called "evaluation" or "emotivity", that is, emotivity always simultaneously expresses evaluativeness, and the means of updating the category of emotivity are at the same time ways of expressing evaluation.
The categories of emotivity and evaluativeness are indispensable when studying the contexts of different cultures, because the existence of typical emotionally significant situations of human communication, both intracultural and intercultural, predetermines the possibility of identifying common emotional themes - danger, love, respect, death, etc. [2, p. nine].
The analysis of emotional-evaluative adjectives made it possible to identify the following thematic groups:
emotional-evaluative adjectives associated with the characteristic of honesty / dishonesty;
emotional-evaluative adjectives that indicate attitude towards people; emotional-evaluative adjectives expressing attitude towards oneself;
emotional-evaluative adjectives that characterize the very culture of behavior; emotional-evaluative adjectives that call volitional qualities;
emotional and evaluative adjectives associated with the expression of moral feelings;
emotional-evaluative adjectives denoting a person's attitude to work;
emotional-evaluative adjectives that characterize the relationship between the male and female sexes.
The prospect for further research in this area is to establish the patterns of implementation and functioning of emotional-evaluative adjectives in fiction of different genres, as well as the influence of the gender aspect of the specific use of such adjectives in the author's discourse.
