D. Data analysis method
After the data has been collected by observation and interview, I analyzed with following criteria including data reduction and data display.
In data reduction, I selected to analyze in the simplifies, abstracts, and transforms data from field notes or transcriptions.
In the latter method, I analyzed to describe what is going on in the natural world to help the writer come to a final conclusion.
E. Schedule of the research
I referenced time and type of strategies with marking via a table. The strategies which I used and students were the sources of data in this study. The technique of methodological triangulation regarded different methods of data collection, such as observation and interview were used to measure the same unit in this study.
CHAPTER IV
FINDING AND DISCUSSIONS
In this chapter, I presented the findings and discussion of a study on strategies used in teaching English speaking at Turtkul Agro-Industry Vocational College. The evident findings were proved based on the findings and discussion.
While using recordings and transcripts to teach speaking is a standard method in the classroom, it can be useless for some students because they are already familiar with it. In an interview, I noted this strategy regularly because the media was readily available in the classroom. Live listening is another approach for teaching speaking that has a good command of the English language, it will be more effective.
I believed that speaking is recognized as a crucial skill because of its critical role in supporting learners in understanding English. While teaching students to speaking skill in English, I used these strategies to capture their attention and increase their ability to communicate in the language.
I saw that a language resulted in the capacity to speak that language; yet, speaking is an integral part of the language acquisition process. This is particularly true if they respond to queries. In several of my lessons, I have taught students by using these strategies. Although some are still passive, the majority of them are interactive and helpful.
