Abstract:
 Teachers need to move over and let learners be the focus of the classroom. 
This reading gives the teachers tips on how to change their role to make student-
centered learning possible. ‘When the focus of a teacher is less on teaching and 
more on learning there is greater attention paid to measuring and monitoring 
the amount of learning taking place’.
Rationale:
 The role of the teacher in the modern world is quickly changing be-
cause of the improvement in technology and new knowledge in the psychology of 
learning so teachers must be prepared to be guides so that learners can participate 
fully “hands on” during learning.
