WHILE WRITING STAGE

Students were provided a story . They had to read it. Then they maked it as a poem during 15 minutes. In the process of this activity students had opportunity to use their vocabulay base to creat poems of given story tasks. To develop their critical thinking skills she asked them for questions like these: how many lines did you create, did you use range of synonyms, did you add some situations, feelings.



In order to link a range of activities effectively students were provided text, in this task students put the word given in bold into the correct places. This task was given 10minutes. It helped students be aware of what kind of genres are there in poetry.

Continuously to above activities students were given handouts which were written poems four lined but the second and four lines were not given. Participaters were divided into three groups and had to recite, write these lines with connected as continuation of previous line. But they had to follow to rhyme.

With these kind of activities the researcher intented to improve students artistic, working creating capacities, and as well as integrate four skills: listening, reading(receptive), and speaking, writing(productive skills) at the same time.

In the process of doing this task students had an opportunity of listening, motivate each other to write poems unanimously, impact on thinking deeply, students who have high level helped shy and low level students to show their ability to create poems. As the result of it low level students were motivated and they had a desire of participating, working with their peers and imitated to think and act as high level students. They could take away any kind of obstacles in participation during the lesson.
