State Population Covered by NWD/SEPs: Entire State, 100% of towns

The State of Connecticut has several agencies that are part of the LTSS No Wrong Door system, including the Department of Social Services, Department of Developmental Services, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, and Community Choices – Aging and Disability Resource Centers. In addition, United Way Infoline (211) provides telephonic services, and soon, a Chat feature, which is available via a statewide toll-free number. The entire state is covered, covering 100% of the population. The State will, however, continue to expand its NWD entities by offering the opportunity to be part of the NWD to town and local government, public, non-profit, and other entities.
