South west England is formed of rocks (qoyalar). The climate is mild. Valleys are usually moist (nam). Thanks to the rich growth of grass there is no problem in winter in feeding live-stock (uy hayvonlarini boqishda). Cornwall specialized in the production of butter and cheese (Kornuoll shahar). Sheep are grazed on the open moorlands (ajratilgan joylarda boqiladi).
The lowlands are subdivided into the midland plains and the searplants of eastern England (past tekisliklar). This part of Engand consists of rocks.
The Lancashire is an agricultural region of England with a high developed and widespread industry (ko’p tarqalgan). It has big towns such as Manchester, Liverpool and many others. The climate of the plain is equable and the rains are fairly frequent (teng baravar, tez-tez qaytarilib turadi). Potatoes and cabbages, paultry farms are numerous (parrandachilik ko’p). Manchester is a commercial cenre of cotton, textile industry and an important financial centre. It is well known for its electrical machine and other goods. Liverpool is a great port and commercial centre. It is known for exporting primary products and importing manufactured goods. Flour-milling, sugar refining and rubber products of are much importance (tegirmonchilik, un, qand ishlab chiqarish, rezina mahsulotllari).
Blackpool is one of the Britain’s most popular holiday resorts with sandy beaches hotels, cafes, and places of entertainment (Blekpul).
Chester is known gor engineering work (Chester).
Lanchester is famous for manufacture of linoleum (Lankaster, linoleum). Birkenhead is known for the construction of modern oil-tankers and some smaller ships (Birkenxad, qurilish).
The largest towns of the industrial north east England are Newcastle, Gatesheard. Round Newcastle many towns grew with the development of iron and steel manufacture shipbuilding and engineering.
The west industrial region has two leading centres: Sheffield and Leeds centres (Sheffild, Lids)
In Sheffield two types of products are made of steel: Spare parts and cutting tools (qirqadigan, kesadigan asboblar).
Leeds is another commercial centre of the area. It is known for its wool industry and a large ready-made clothing industry (tayyor kiyimlar).
Another town Bradford is well known for its worsted and woolen industries. (komval).
Scarlands of Eastern England is excellent formland. The main cultivated crop is barley and sheep are quite numbers (ko’p ekiladigan ekin). Wheat, potatoes, oats grow there.
Hull, Crim are fairly important ports are York, Lincoln are leading towns (asosiy shaharlar).
Hull is the fourth port of Great Britain (Gull). Hull’s exports are coal, machinery, manufactured goods. Its chief imports are grain, oil, seeds, timber, fruit, wool, fish and mineral oils (o’simlik turlari, qurilish materiallari, mineral xom ashyolar).
