Edward Woodward – Starred in a 1990 UK television film,
Hands of a Murderer (aka: Sherlock Holmes and the Prince of Crime)
made by Yorkshire/Green Pond/Storke Productions.
Ben Wright – Took over from John Stanley for the final 39-
part American radio series of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
(WJZ-ABC) from 21 September 1949 to 14 June 1950.
Charles York – Appeared in The Heart of London stage play at
the Theatre Royal, Goole, from 12 March 1906, and then in the
UK provincial tour of Doyle’s play The Speckled Band from
December 1914. (It is possible that ‘C York’ in the 1906 play
might be a different actor.)
HA Young – Appeared in the UK provincial tour of Doyle’s
play The Speckled Band from November 1915 to May 1916.

or WH Smith, can sometimes match the e-suppliers, but not
often. New DVD retailers usually fall by the wayside after a
