Attempt to Locate Stolen Truck and Trailer
SEBRING -

On May 25, 2015 the Highlands County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Econo Lodge, 2511 US Highway 27, Avon Park regarding a stolen vehicle complaint. The complainant stated the truck and trailer was last seen parked at the Econo Lodge on May 24^th at approximately 5:00PM. The truck was equipped with a GPS tracking unit that last alerted the vehicle’s location to be US Highway 441 in Yeehaw Junction.

The truck is described as a burgundy in color 2004, Peterbilt 379, Florida license plate F77 43R on the front of the vehicle. The truck has a 305" wheel base, two 8" chrome stacks, a sleeper cab, and "ACA" lettering on the side steps. The truck has the number "531" on the front. The affixed trailer has been found in Hialeah however the truck is still missing.
