Mystery Juice
— uses investigation to demonstrate
how pasteurization reduces the number of
microorganisms in juice.
Ultra High Pressure Treatment
— shows how foods
are kept safe through processing, including one of the
newest food preservation technologies.
Time to Tune In
Students revisit the research lab and
consider the roles of pasteurization,
irradiation, and ultra high pressure
treatment in keeping food safe.
