Topic: “What is your address?”
Aim and tasks of the lesson:
Educational aim: To be able to talk about the place where live, to love the Motherland and care their living place
Educative aim: to be able to proud of the place where live in
Developing aim: to develop pupils’ speaking, listening and writing skills.
Task: to enable pupils to recognize, read and write address where live in English.
Technology of carrying out of learning process:
Form: reading, listening, writing, speaking,
Method: individual work, chain drill, point and say, answer questions
Equipment: the textbook Fly High English 5, slides, web site materials, scotches, computer, flipcharts, markers
Step 1.
Introduction:
Greeting with pupils, checking the attendance of them :
Good morning children !
How are you feeling today ?
Who can tell me what date is it today ?
Who can tell me what day is it today ?
What is the weather like for today ?
Who is on duty today? Who is absent today?
Step 2.
Reflection and assessment:
Are you ready for the lesson? OK, let’s begin our lesson. I want to begin today’s lesson checking your homework and asking about the previous lesson. For this purpose I want you to do warm up activity.
Activity 1
Play Bingo
Dialogues according to this lesson.
Motivation. (3 min)
After greeting I ask duty’s report and I begin to motivate PPs. I distribute the pictures of several places. And I give questions to pupils enable them to answer the questions.
1 What can you see in the picture?
2 Do you know this place?
3 Do you have any relatives in given picture?
After accepting their answers I ask participant pupils to write the sentences on the BB and to copy on their notebooks.
Consolidation of previous lesson (7 min)
I ask their previous lessons and their home tasks.
I show to PPs several pictures and ask of the translation.
For ex: brother – aka
Sister- opa
Granddad- bobo
Presentation of new theme (15 min)
In presentation stage I use dialogue on p14. Before reading the dialogue I explain the rule of using general questions in L1. I divide my whole class in pairs and I read myself. After my reading PPs should read one sentences turn by turn in pairs. And the others follow and going on reading. After reading I ask unknown words then I write the words on the BB and give their translation by miming acting or giving definitions or using L1
For ex:
Address- the place where we and our families live and we write the word on the envelope If write a letter.

Practice stage.(7 min)
In this stage PPs work in pairs. They ask each other’s telephone number and address and write their own dialogues according
ex 3c and ex 4c on p 14. After doing this activity I say them to check each others’ task.
For ex:
A: Hello Dildora .
D: Hi Anvar.
A: Can you tell me where do you live?
D: Of course. I live in 109 Navoiy Street Mustakillik Uzbekistan.
A: Thank you and your address please?
D: My address 109 Navruz Uchkuprik Uzbekistan
A:What is telephone number, Dildora?
D: 1385674
A: Thank you. I call you later.
Step 3 Procedure of the lesson
In this stage I divide my class in 2 group.
The task is so : I read a text. According this text the first group will write only telephone numbers according my speech and the second group will write the address.
I have got a grandmother. Her name is Naima.
She lives in #12 Temur street Navoiy, Uzbekistan.
Sometimes I phone her. Her telephone number is 2345678.

I evaluate PPs in group and individually according their answers using assessment rubrics. (I take into consideration their pronunciation, writing skills, speaking in English.)
I give activity 6 on p19 as a homework. PPs should draw envelope and write their address on it.
