Sterile flower - a barren flower with underdeveloped members mutated into petals. Sterile 
flowers are not able to form seeds. 
Stem  -  vegetative  organs  of  higher  plants,  serving  the  mechanical  axis  is  more  or  less  a 
long  shoot.  The  stem  bears  leaves,  buds,  flowers.  The  stem  carries  a  support  and  a  conductive 
function.  There  are  elevated  and  underground,  herbaceous  and  woody,  upright  and  recumbent 
stems. 
Sclerenchyma  -  mechanical  tissue  of  stems  and  leaves  of  plants,  consisting  of  cellulose 
fibers  and  sklereid.  Sclerenchyma  gives  plants  the  stiffness  bodies,  determine  their  position  in 
space. Sclerenchyma is spinning raw materials. 
Solomin - erect stem, hollow and filled with interstitial tissue only in knots.
