Reflective writing

Erkinov Javlon,had AN internship school 23 in the district of urgut .There are 27 teachers, 750 pupils, 37 classes in the school.Pupils study in 2 shifts.School is stuffed with necessary equipments.The school itself is 2-storey.

The practice was held from February 22to March 21,2021.

Firstly,in our institute the meeting was held that was about what we should do during practical period.Then I went to the school and met with the director and teaching stuffs.The meeting brought me only positive impressions.I was attached to English teacher whose name is Muzafforova N during the process of teaching practice.She taught me methodology of teaching, secrets and ways of educating pupils.Our practice was consist of 24 days and during this period I observed not only English lessons but also other lessons of school children such as mother tongue, history,maths and so on.During the preparetion part I acquired a lot of pedagogical skills by observing teachers' lessons.

I had realised in my pedagogical practice that teaching is part of a life-long learning process.For effective teaching, teachers must be good learners. This pedagogical practice in school teaching provided me with many opportunities to think about my teaching career. Knowing or understanding subjects does not necessarily mean I will be able to teach the subjects well. To enhance students learning, I must create an appropriate learning environment through various teaching strategies and presentation methods. There is no single best solution; I should continuously try new things and improve my teaching skills.

In addition, balancing between be strict and be flexible is also a great challenge for me. I want students to follow my policy. However, I have to be flexible to meet students needs and interests. Being too strict may damage students interest and participation in the class, but being too flexible can also hurt students engagement in the class. I should improve my teaching method to create a good teaching and learning environment.

All documents in my portfolio are important for me. I did my best to prepare each document; however, there is no completed, perfect version of them. As previously stated, teaching, for me, is a lifelong learning activity. My teaching style may change over the coming years and I may learn and create new materials for my future classes. I will keep updating my documents in my portfolio to meet both students and my own needs.

To sum up,this practice was the most beneficial for me.I learned how to better run my classroom and make my students comfortable.Teaching is unlike any other profession.Teachers are constantly learning how to improve on their skills.I am more excited about teaching after my fabulous experience at school N43.
