This state educational standard is underpinned by communicative-constructivist, personalistic, integrated and competence based approaches.
Communicative-constructivist approach presents developmental, functional and communicative nature of education, which promotes cognitive activeness in learning. This approach is focused on developing skills and need for reflection, self-development and self-actualization. This occurs based on the integration to the teaching process knowledges of various spheres, organization of learning process as a process of intercultural communication, use of interactive forms of teaching; development of learner autonomy in acquiring new language and sociocultural knowledge and practical skills.
