REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

FOR SHARING EXISTING CELLULAR TOWERS/BASE TRANSCEIVER STATIONS OVER PAKISTAN RAILWAYS NETWORK
The Ministry of Railway (MoR) of Government of Pakistan is aggressively focusing on revamping Pakistan Railways (PR) operations in the country. The MoR, in line with its vision, is seeking new streams of revenue generation through the use of private sector participation, complementing the growth requirements of its rail transportation infrastructure.
In pursuit of the above vision, Railway Estate Development & Marketing Company (Pvt) Ltd (REDAMCO) intends to offer existing Cellular Towers/Base Transceiver Stations owned by PR and those owned by other cellular operators for sharing by other Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) approved cellular and WLL operators, over PR network.
For this purpose, REDAMCO invites PTA approved Cellular and WLL operators to submit their Request for Proposal (RFP). Terms of Reference, Information to Cellular/WLL Operators, Evaluation Criteria and Data Sheet for the Request for Proposal, along with the list of Site IDs, is available on www.ppra.com, www.pakrail.com and www.redamco.com and the same can be collected from the contact below on any working day before 2^nd May, 2014.
Request for Proposal (Technical and Financial Proposal in sealed envelopes, separately) shall be submitted, in the manner explained in the Information to Cellular Operators of the RFP, at the office of the undersigned on or before 2^nd May, 2014, till 1600 hours, along with a Bank Draft/Pay Order for Rs. 5000/-, in favour of Railway Estate Development and Marketing Company (Pvt) Limited.
REDAMCO reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals without assigning any reason thereof.
