Regarding the organization of the navoy state university of mining and technologies

REGARDING THE ORGANIZATION OF THE NAVOY STATE UNIVERSITY OF MINING AND TECHNOLOGIES
Establishing a training system for highly qualified engineers with deep theoretical knowledge and practical skills who can contribute to the sustainable development of economic sectors and find their place in the labor market in Navoi region, as well as In order to consistently ensure the implementation of the tasks defined in the concept of the development of the higher education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-5847 of October 8, 2019:
1. The Navoi State Mining Institute should be reorganized into the Navoi State University of Mining and Technologies (hereinafter - the University).
2. The following should be defined as the main directions of the university's activity:
training, retraining and upgrading of highly educated specialists and scientific-pedagogical personnel for industry, technical-technological, engineering fields;
implementation of joint educational programs and scientific projects with leading foreign higher education institutions, as well as introduction of advanced pedagogical and distance learning technologies, new achievements of science and technology into the educational process;
forming a modern educational and scientific laboratory base, creating new developments for the development of economic sectors, creating conditions for students to engage in scientific activities during the educational process;
development of scientific, practical and innovative research aimed at solving the problems of industrial organizations, development of proposals for the implementation of research results and advanced technologies;
attracting qualified specialists to the process of education and scientific research, developing cooperation relations with republican and leading foreign higher education institutions, scientific centers and production enterprises;
to introduce international educational standards into the educational process, to ensure that students' theoretical knowledge is inextricably linked with production practice, to establish targeted cooperation on providing employment to graduates;
to develop high spiritual and moral qualities in students, to strengthen the feeling of love for the Motherland, involvement in its destiny, loyalty to the profession, to increase the effectiveness of the educational process and spiritual and educational work;
directing the educational process to the formation of students' independent education, systematic analysis, creative thinking and practical, including entrepreneurial skills;
to increase the scientific and pedagogical potential, including the organization of internships and professional development of professors and teachers in prestigious republican and foreign higher education and research centers.
3. The following should be organized at the University:
a) On the basis of the Nukus branch of the Navoi State Mining Institute - Nukus Mining Institute;
b) "Navoi" science and technology industrial park;
c) in the 2022/2023 academic year:
On the basis of the Karmana service and service technical school under the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute - Karmana polytechnic technical school;
On the basis of the Nurota industrial-mining college in the system of "Ozsanoatqurilishmateriallari" association - Gozgon Polytechnic Technical College.
The Uchkuduk Industrial Technical College and the Zarafshan Industrial Technical College under the Navoi State Mining Institute should be transferred to the University.
4. The management board for coordination of university activities (hereinafter referred to as the Management Board) should be established and its composition approved in accordance with Appendix 1.
To the Board of Directors (Q.S. Sanakulov):Navoi State Mining Institute aims to train highly qualified personnel in the priority areas of the republic's mining and metallurgical industry, develop this area, conduct scientific analysis, create new advanced technologies based on the latest achievements of world science and technology, and put these technologies into practice. It was established in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 7, 1995.
Based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 12, 2001, NDKI was transferred to the state concern "Kyzilkumnodirmetaloltin" in order to improve the training of highly qualified specialists in the mining and metallurgical industry.
In the institute, 4 doctors of science and more than 49 candidates of science are teaching about 2500 students, linking science, education and production.
Post-graduate studies in "Mining" and "Metallurgy" specializations have been opened at the institute, and a specialized council is operating for the defense of candidate's theses.
NDKI has 5 faculties, of which the Faculty of Mining, Faculty of Chemistry and Metallurgy, Faculty of Energy and Mechanics are located in Navoi. In order to provide Qizilqum region with qualified specialists, Zarafshan Faculty of General Engineering and Almalik Mining and Metallurgical Faculties are operating in Zarafshan and Almalik cities to provide Tashkent region with experts in the field of Mining and Metallurgy.
In order to implement wide cooperation in educational and scientific fields, universities of Germany, the Netherlands, Moscow State Mining University, Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys, Moscow Geological Research University, Unraina National Mining University, Tomsk Polytechnic University and a number of other universities cooperation with educational institutions has been established.
Professors and teachers of the institute have the opportunity to improve their skills in advanced educational centers of foreign countries. The employees of the institute are allowed to use recreation and treatment facilities in the modern prophylactic facility belonging to the state concern "Kyzilkumnodirmetaloltin".
Professors-teachers are assigned an additional salary based on their performance rating and length of service.
