Since the first years of independence, special attention has been paid to the fundamental reform of the education system in our country, to ensure that our children acquire modern knowledge and skills at the level of world standards, grow up to be physically and mentally mature people, their abilities and desires Great work is being done in order to bring out their taste and intellectual potential, to raise the feelings of loyalty and devotion to the Motherland in the hearts of the young generation.

By the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 925 dated November 13, 2018, a Nukus branch of the Navoi State Mining Institute was established in the city of Nukus.In the 2019-2020 academic year, a total of 54 students (17 grants and 37 payment contracts) were accepted at the branch in the field of education 5311600 - Mining work and 5320400 - Chemical technology.

In the branch, 17 professors and teachers work on a full-time basis in 5 states allocated for professors and teachers, their scientific potential is 47%, and their average age is 45 years. Since the beginning of the 2019-2020 academic year, cooperation relations have been established with 7 higher education and 1 research institutions, 3 production enterprises, including 3 international agreements.

380 pieces of educational and fiction literature (73% availability) were brought to the information resource center from the base Navoi State Mining Institute, electronic versions of the missing literature were provided, and computers were connected to the Internet for work.The branch website http://www.ndkinf.uz is available on the Internet, and the site is regularly updated.

In order to strengthen the material and technical base, a number of effective works are being carried out in order to provide modern information and communication technologies, information security and improve the internal computer network of branch departments, educational halls, computer classes and server rooms.

We cannot fully say that the work we are doing here is at the level of today's demand. Because the main tasks set by the head of our country are not only the development of education, but we should mention the modern program for the development of "science-education-production" relations, which will start a new stage of development. The implementation of this program in the future will serve to create specific mechanisms for the commercialization of the results of scientific and innovative activities in each higher education and scientific research institution, and to increase the effectiveness of the application of scientific research to production.
