The subject
of the study are public relations related to the use of tokens and 
blockchain technology in the economic circulation and personal data protection in the 
Republic of Belarus and abroad. 
The aim
of the work is to study the experience of legal regulation of tokens in 
foreign countries, the analysis of the use of tokens in economic activities and the 
protection of personal data in the Republic of Belarus, and to formulate possible 
proposals for amending the legislation of the Republic of Belarus. 
The methodological
basis of the research is a set of scientific methods and 
methods for investigating phenomena and processes, including the method of system 
analysis, generalization, comparative legal, formal-legal, dialectical, logical, and 
complex. 
The subject
of the study are the norms of civil and banking legislation of the 
Republic of Belarus and foreign countries (in particular, the Russian Federation, the 
United States of America, the Federal Republic of Germany, the European Union), 
other rules of law that regulate the use of tokens and blockchain in the economic 
circulation and personal data protection; research of scientists on the legal regulation 
of tokens and blockchain.
